ITVoice News: With series of Android One smartphones arriving, Micromax also announced its Canvas A1 Android One phone. The smatphone is priced at Rs. 6,499 and is now exclusively available on e-commerce website Amazon India.
Google first revealed about its Android One venture during the Google I/O 2014 designed specifically for the low-cost segment of the world. The Micromax Canvas A1 smartphone will be available in white and black colour options. The features are broadly similar to that of other Android One smartphones. To list down few, Micromax Canvas A1supports quad-core MediaTek processor, Android 4.4.4 OS, 5MP rear camera and 2MP front shooter supported with rechargeable lithium-ion 1700 mAh battery.
It features 11.43-cm (4.5-inch) FWVGA display with 1GB of RAM, 4GB internal storage with additional 35GB of free Google Drive storage. It’s a dual SIM support smartphone and on connectivity front it supports GPS Navigation, Wi-Fi b/g/n and FM radio.
As in the case of Spice and Karbonn; Micromax Android One phone will also get the benefit of free 200MB data per month from Airtel, users can avail it for App download from Google play.
Reports reveal that Micromax Canvas A1 went out of stock on the first day of sale.
