Here comes another mid-range smartphone, the Micromax Canvas Blaze HD. The phone is build in association with the telecom provider MTS and has been made available in the Indian market. It is priced at 15,999.
The Canvas Blaze HD EG116 is now listed on Micromax’s official website, for sale. Online retailer Snapdeal has also listed the same device with a delivery period of 5 working days. The smartphone has a 12.7-cm (5-inch) IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels of resolution. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor that clocks at 1.2GHz, with 1GB of RAM.
The Blaze HD EG116 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It has an 8 MP rear snapper and a 2 MP front facing camera. The smartphone has a 4 GB onboard storage with up to 32 GB expandable memory via microSD card slot. It supports dual-SIM (GSM + CDMA), like its predecessor, the Canvas Blaze. The Blaze HD is packed with a 2000mAh battery.
The company teamed up with MTS to launch the Canvas Blaze by way of offering free data for 6 months, while Micromax did not reveal any introductory offer yet.
