Home grown manufacturer Micromax has announced a strategic partnership with Vodafone India to offer free data usage of up to 2GB for customers not active on a data pack with the Micromax Canvas Knight smartphone. Vodafone’s focal point is to raise consumer data adoption with the partnership.

Our initiative with Micromax is yet another step in that direction. We believe that using the Canvas Knight Smartphone on the Vodafone network will provide an enriching experience for our customers.” said Vivek Mathur, Chief Commercial Officer, Vodafone India.
The Canvas Knight features a 12.7-cm (5-inch) Full HD display and is powered by a 2 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592 processor and a Mali 450-MP4 GPU, coupled with 2GB of RAM. The Knight sports a 16MP OmniVision camera coupled with the M8 Largan Lens and an 8MP front-facing camera.
