Moto E is back in stock on Flipkart, continuing the trend of the handset being available for a short while every week. Both black and white variants of the smartphone are available at present.

People ordering Moto E today would get the device by June 9 via standard delivery. Flipkart is also offering single-day delivery to select cities for Rs 90.

Flipkart is not providing any special offer or freebies this time, unlike the initial weeks.

Unlike earlier instances, Flipkart this time has taken only five days to replenish stocks of the phone. This suggests that the e-commerce titan is close to bridging the demand-supply gap.

On May 13, the launch day, the smartphone was out of stock in less than a day, with the website showing ‘404 error’ to many prospective customers who tried ordering the handset. At that time, Flipkart offered free e-books, and discounts on microSD card and original back covers.

After that, Motorola replenished Moto E stocks on May 23, but once again the device went out of stock in less than a day. On May 30, the device came in stock around 1pm, but was sold out by 3.30pm.

The cheapest smartphone in Motorola’s portfolio, Moto E sports a 4.3-inch display with 960x540p resolution, making it the only smartphone offering a high quality display at this price point. The dual-sim phone runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS, and Motorola has promised that it will upgrade the smartphone to the next major version of Android.

Moto E packs a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor, with 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage. Unlike Moto X and G, this phone supports microSD cards for storage expansion. The budget offering of Motorola sports a 5MP camera on the back, but does not have rear LED flash and front camera. It can access the internet over 2G, 3G and Wi-Fi networks, while data can be transferred via microUSB 2.0 and Bluetooth 4.0.

The smartphone has a decent 1,980mAh battery and Motorola claims it can last a whole day once fully charged. Motorola has used a nano-coating that will make the smartphone resistant to splashes, so that it does not get damaged in rain. Motorola is also offering swappable back covers and grip shells with the phone.
