Prateek: What are the latest trends in the non-tangible assets management industry?
Naren Bhagi: With an increase in data usage, there is a popularity of both creation & management of Private Clouds. There is a rapid increase in BYOD (Bring your own device) trend where more and more organizations are promoting their employees to bring their own devices while the organizations are setting up VPN for these devices. 10% of our customers have already adopted this model. We see a growth of 14-15% CAGR in Non-Tangible asset industry in the next 5 years.
Prateek: Why non-tangible asset management is the most important issue for top management at present?
Naren Bhagi: With increase in BYOD, data protection & usage of illegal software licenses needs to be controlled. Hence tracking the licenses & updates on the software for security purposes becomes a top priority for organizations. Increasing Audits (both external & internal), high expenditure on Licencing, High legal costs due to failure in adhering to compliant practices makes this a priority area for organizations. Also, the Non-availability of enough skilled resources to both maintain the compliance and manage the licenses makes it a priority area for the management to focus on this subject.
