Nokia has unveiled the Nokia 150 (2023) featuring an IP52 rating, along with the Nokia 130 Music that boasts a spacious speaker

HMD Global is refreshing its lineup of Nokia feature phones with two new models – the stylish Nokia 150 and the music-focused Nokia 130.

Starting with the Nokia 150 (2023), this phone strikes a balance between aesthetics and durability. Its body is crafted from colored polycarbonate, eliminating the risk of paint chipping or scratching. Additionally, the phone carries an IP52 rating, providing protection against dust and light water splashes.

The phone’s appearance is enhanced by a textured back panel and metallic (though not actual metal) function keys on the front. Beyond its design, the Nokia 150 offers the expected functionality commonly associated with such phones, closely resembling the Nokia 150 released three years ago.

On the front, there’s a 2.4-inch display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, and the phone operates on Nokia OS S30+. Users can expand storage with a microSD card (up to 32GB) to save photos taken with the 0.3MP camera and MP3 files. An FM radio receiver is included, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Powering the phone is a removable 1,450mAh battery that charges via microUSB (USB 1.1), with a charger supplied in the package. This battery offers 20 hours of talk time or 30 hours of music playback.

The Nokia 130 Music, or Nokia 130 (2023), is aptly named due to its rear design. It swaps out the camera for a larger loudspeaker. Like the Nokia 150, this model supports MP3 playback from a microSD card (up to 32GB) or via the FM radio. The phone includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a headset is provided in the retail package.

This phone also features a 2.4-inch display, the same feature phone OS, and the identical 1,450mAh battery, along with the familiar microUSB charger. While these phones cater to basic needs, a transition to USB-C would be a welcome upgrade.

Both phones are set to become available in India soon, both online and through physical stores. The Nokia 130 Music comes in Dark Blue and Purple at ₹1,850, and a Light Gold variant is also available for ₹1,950.

As the more premium model of the two, the Nokia 150 (2023) is priced higher at ₹2,700.
