The launch event for the Nothing Phone 2 in India will begin at 8:30 pm IST and will be livestreamed on the company’s website and official YouTube channel. The official price of the smartphone in India has not been announced yet, but it is expected to start around Rs. 42,000 or Rs. 43,000, according to a previous report. Leaks suggest that the phone will come in two storage configurations, with the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant priced at EUR 729 (roughly Rs. 65,600) and the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant priced at EUR 849 (roughly Rs. 76,500).
The Nothing Phone 2 will be available in white and dark grey/black color options. It can be pre-ordered on Flipkart with a refundable deposit of Rs. 2,000. While the detailed specifications of the phone have not been revealed, it is confirmed to feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, a 6.7-inch full-HD+ display, and a 4,700mAh battery. Leaks and reports suggest that it will offer up to 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, and run on Android 13-based NothingOS 2.0.
According to the latest information, the rear camera setup of the Nothing Phone 2 is rumored to consist of a dual-camera system. It is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX890 sensor along with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. On the front, the phone is said to house a 32-megapixel camera for capturing selfies and engaging in video chats.
