The rumors surrounding the OnePlus 12’s launch have been corroborated by tipster Max Jambor, who claims that the smartphone will be released globally, including in India, in January 2024 instead of February. Although OnePlus has not officially confirmed anything about the OnePlus 12, leaked renders have given us a glimpse of its design. The phone is expected to be powered by the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It will run on Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 out of the box.
The OnePlus 12 is rumored to sport a 6.7″ 120Hz QHD+ LTPO AMOLED display with an integrated fingerprint reader for biometric authentication. In terms of cameras, the smartphone is expected to have a quad-camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide sensor, a 64MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies.
Powering the entire package will be a robust 5,400 mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
