OnePlus Ace 2 (OnePlus 11R) variant with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 may be up in the works

As a flagship device and the follow-up to the OnePlus Ace from the previous year, the OnePlus Ace 2 made its premiere in China earlier this week. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 SoC that was included with the device is still a strong performance for the pricing category. Now, renowned tipper DigitalChatStation believes the OnePlus Ace2 with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 is in development and will launch as a somewhat less expensive alternative or even a special edition model, possibly the OnePlus Ace 2 Racing Edition. The leaker also revealed several of the phone’s important features, most of which are similar with a few small tweaks.

The 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor used in the OnePlus Ace 2 will be replaced by a 64MP OmniVision sensor, according to DigitalChatStation. The greatest difference between the current Ace2 and the incoming new model seems to be this. Soon, we ought to gain additional information.

The 6.7-inch AMOLED screen on the OnePlus Ace 2 5G features HDR10+, a punch-hole for the selfie camera, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 SoC, which supports up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage, powers the phone. The OxygenOS custom skin, which is built on top of Android 13 out of the box, is in charge.

A 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens are all there on the rear of the OnePlus Ace 2 5G. Now let’s talk about its optics. For selfies and video calls, the front camera has a 16MP sensor.

There is a 5,000mAh battery and 100W fast charging capabilities included with the OnePlus Ace 2. A USB Type-C port, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and other connectivity options are available onboard. The phone weighs 205 grammes and has dimensions of 163.1 x 74.1 x 8.53mm. Dolby Atmos, an alarm slider, and an in-display fingerprint sensor are all included for security.
