Wednesday, June 11, 2014: Chinese tech giant Oppo today launched the company’s latest flagship, the Find 7 in the Indian market. The smartphone will be up for grabs at a price of Rs 37,990 starting July. Further, the company also announced that its other device, the Find 7a will be available in India starting tomorrow at Rs 31,990.
The Oppo Find 7 features a 13.97-cm (5.5-inch) qHD display with a 2560×1440 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system with the company’s own ColorOS 1.2 on top. It sports a 13MP rear camera, however, it boasts of a Super Zoom mode that merges 10 photos to create a single 50MP image. It also has a 5MP camera at the front. Further, the device can capture 4K resolution videos with HDR and slow motion capabilities. It comes with 32GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot. Moreover, the device comes with MaxxAudio from Waves for solid bass effect.
The Oppo Find 7 decks in a 3,000mAh battery. The most striking feature of the smartphone is perhaps the VOOC fast charging technology. Thanks to the technology, a five minute charge allows the device to support two hours of talk time, meanwhile a 30 minute charge charges about 75 per cent of the device, claims Oppo.
