Oppo has debuted the Reno series’ newest iteration in the Chinese market. The Reno 9, Reno 9 Pro, and Reno 9 Pro+ are the models in the series. The top model, which is the first time Oppo has offered a third Reno series model, is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Although there is currently no information available regarding the phones’ launch in India, we should be able to see at least two of the variants within the next several months.
With the Reno 9 Pro+, Oppo appears to be breaking into the flagship market. Up until now, the Reno series has only been available in the mid- and upper-midrange. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 – a flagship chipset that came before the newly released Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 – is undoubtedly its most notable feature. The GPU Adreno 730 is connected with the chip. Then there is the 6.7-inch FHD+ display, which has a 240Hz touch sampling rate and a 120Hz refresh rate.
At the back are three cameras for photography: a 50MP main camera with OIS capability, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 32MP camera up front with autofocus for selfies.
The Oppo Reno 9 Pro looks a lot like its Pro+ sister, with the exception that it has one fewer camera on the back. It is powered by the Mali-G610 MC6 GPU and MediaTek’s nearly flagship Dimensity 8100 Max processor. The 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display features a 950nit maximum brightness, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz.

The battery has a 4,500mAh capacity and supports 67W charging. In terms of software, the Reno 9 Pro launches ColorOS 13, which is based on Android 13. The phone includes an under-display fingerprint sensor, just like the other two variants. There are two storage options: 16GB+512GB and 16GB+256GB. The available colours are pink, black, and brown.
