Panasonic Life Solutions India’s (PLSIND) Industrial Devices Division (INDD) has launched a new suite of products designed to enhance India’s automotive and industrial sectors at the electronica India exhibition. This lineup includes several innovative solutions: a Cooling Fan Motor for motorcycles and scooters, a 6-in-1 sensor for vehicle stability and control, a Cooling Fan for heat management, an Ultrasonic Gas-Flow Measurement Unit, and MEGTRON-8, a multi-layer circuit board material. These products aim to improve performance, safety, and reliability within India’s evolving industrial and automotive landscapes.
The launch event featured Manish Sharma, Chairman of PLSIND, along with other notable figures including Tadashi Chiba, MD & CEO of PLSIND, and Narayan Kumar, Divisional Director of INDD. Sharma emphasized the critical role of industrial devices in India’s economic development and highlighted Panasonic’s commitment to supporting the country’s manufacturing growth through advanced, locally developed technologies.

Key highlights of the new products include:
- Cooling Fan Motor for Motorcycles and Scooters: This thin, lightweight motor is designed for optimal engine cooling in two-wheelers, enhancing fuel efficiency and durability, with a lifespan of up to 3,000 hours.
- 6-in-1 Sensor: This inertial sensor provides critical data for vehicle safety and stability, measuring acceleration and angular rates along three axes. It adheres to rigorous safety standards, making it suitable for applications like Electronic Stability Control and Autonomous Driving.
- Cooling Fan: Equipped with a hydro-dynamic bearing, this fan offers exceptional performance and reliability across a wide temperature range, ideal for critical automotive and electronics applications.
- Ultrasonic Gas-Flow Measurement Unit: This unit provides high accuracy in smart gas meters and is compatible with various gases. Its advanced features include a shut-off valve and seismic sensor, enhancing its utility in modern gas metering.
- MEGTRON-8: This multi-layer circuit board material supports high-speed communication equipment with minimal transmission loss, improving power efficiency and performance for next-generation networking technologies.
The Industrial Devices Division also showcased its full range of automotive, industrial, and telecom ICT devices at the event, reinforcing Panasonic’s role as a key player in advancing India’s technological capabilities.
