Panasonic Life Solutions India (PLSIND) has introduced an advanced AI-powered anti-ligature i-PRO Corner Camera (model WV-X25580-F2LN2V) designed to boost professional surveillance and public safety. The camera is targeted towards high-security environments like prisons, rehabilitation centers, and mental health institutions. Featuring a compact design with a durable stainless-steel body, the camera is IK11 compliant and can withstand impacts of up to 70 Joules, surpassing the typical IK10 rating of 20 Joules, making it one of the most durable options available.
Vijay Wadhawan, Director of Panasonic Life Solutions India’s System Solutions Division (SSD), highlighted the i-PRO Corner Camera as a game-changer in high-security settings. With easy installation and AI-powered features, this camera seamlessly integrates with existing security systems, offering robust performance and excellent video clarity, even in low-light conditions. Its AI capabilities, including AI Privacy Guard, AI Video Motion Detection (VMD), and AI People Detection, enhance monitoring, while its secure design prevents tampering.
The camera offers a 5-megapixel resolution with a wide-angle view to eliminate blind spots, and its built-in AI features make it suitable for specific institutional needs, such as detecting faces, vehicles, or occupancy. It is both water and dust-resistant, equipped with a microphone for AI sound detection, and includes a secure boot for enhanced cybersecurity. The new i-PRO Corner Camera will be available globally from September 2024 through i-PRO resellers.
