PlexTurbo uses the system RAM to accelerate the SSD’s storage performance beyond the limitations of SATA III interface. It uses an Intelligent Boost Engine (IBE) which helps detect frequently used data and occasionally accessed data to apply best caching patterns for faster performance. The PlexTurbo automatically protects against loss of data during a power interruption or unexpected crash and also extends life of SSD flash memory by eliminating unnecessary writes.
