POCO, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has recently launched its newest addition to the C-series in India, the POCO C51. This upgraded version of the POCO C50 that came out in January is now available for purchase.
The phone runs on a MediaTek Helio G36 processor and comes pre-installed with Android 13 (Go Edition), which is a toned-down version of the latest Android operating system. The device features a large 6.52-inch LCD display with a 120Hz touch sampling rate and a peak brightness of 400 nits. The POCO C51 also comes with an 8MP primary camera and a 5000mAh battery that can be charged via a micro USB port.

The new POCO C51 smartphone has been launched, and it features a 6.52-inch LCD display that offers HD+ resolution and a 120Hz touch sampling rate. There is a waterdrop notch on the front that houses the device’s selfie camera.
Under the hood, the POCO C51 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 processor that comes with an octa-core CPU and PowerVR GE8320 GPU, and is manufactured on a 12nm process. The phone has 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage, and comes with Android 13 (Go Edition) pre-installed, with a promise of two years of security patch updates.
The device features an 8MP primary shooter with an f/2.0 aperture and a secondary sensor with an LED flash, forming a dual-rear camera setup. The front camera is a 5MP shooter that handles selfies and video calls.
The POCO C51 is also equipped with a 5000mAh battery that can be charged via a micro-USB port with 10W charging, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, a splash-resistant coating, and a leather-textured design. A dedicated microSD card slot is also available, allowing for extra storage.
The POCO C51 is available in Power Black and Royal Blue, measures 164.9 × 76.75 × 9.09mm, and weighs 192 grams. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM, 4G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, AGPS, Glonass, and BeiDou.
Pricing and Offers
The POCO C51 smartphone, which is solely offered on Flipkart, has just one option and costs Rs 8,499 for 4GB + 64GB. On Debit and Credit Card transactions, consumers can, however, take advantage of a flat Rs 700 discount as part of the launch promotion. During the initial sale, on 10th April, the POCO C51 was available for Rs 7,799 with this discount.
