Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with Nvidia Inc.’s President and Founder, Jensen Huang.
Prime Minister Modi shared about their conversation on his social media platform X, saying, “Had an excellent meeting with Mr. Jensen Huang, the CEO of @nvidia. We talked at length about the rich potential India offers in the world of AI.”
According to Modi’s post, Mr. Jensen Huang was impressed by the advancements India has made in the field of AI and expressed enthusiasm for the country’s talented youth.
Nvidia is known for its design, development, and marketing of 3D graphics processors and related software, providing interactive 3D graphics products for the mainstream personal computer market.
In May, Nvidia briefly achieved a market valuation of $1 trillion, making it the fifth publicly traded U.S. company to reach this milestone. This achievement was driven by strong sales forecasts related to AI technology, surpassing Wall Street’s expectations. Since January, the company’s shares have risen by 49%.
