Below is the transcript from a recent interaction between team IT-Voice and Mr. Rajesh Goenka, Director, Sales & Marketing, RP tech India where he has answered questions about the organization, market, and the future ahead:
Prateek: What will be the marketing strategy of RP tech India for expansion in the Indian market?
Rajesh Goenka: RP tech India’s strategy is a healthy mix of traditional marketing and new-age digital media platforms. We think that both make an effective combination for business. Currently, we are doing multi-city roadshows in both metros and tier 2, 3 cities. At the same time, we are running several schemes for them on our digital platforms. We are engaging with our existing and potential channel partners adhering to the COVID-19 protocols.
Prateek: What is your take on the human resources of an organization?
Rajesh Goenka: This is a good question, and I am pleased to share that we have been recently certified as the Best Place to Work in India. We received this prestigious certification for our consistent employee engagement efforts. Employees are the fulcrum of any organization/ business, and we put intensive focus on employee training and empowerment. We not only focus on employees’ skill enhancement but engage their families. As a result, we have one of the lowest attrition in the industry. We are known for innovative and first-of-its-kind employee engagement programs. Recently we gifted a car to our branch managers for their extraordinary performance. Again we were the first company in the industry to felicitate our employees with a luxury gift.
Prateek: What are RP tech India’s policies towards e-waste management?
Rajesh Goenka: Being the large importer of IT products, we are obligated to participate in Government’s E-waste program. As a part of this process, we have set up collection centers in more than 40 cities across India. Any individual can visit our collection center and deposit e-waste without any cost. It does not matter whether the person has bought the product from us or anywhere else.
Prateek: Which segment is bringing the most traction for RP tech?
Rajesh Goenka: The PC penetration in India due to Learn from Home (LFH) and Work from Home (WFH) will continue to increase demand for laptops and related computing products. We are already strong in the PCD business in India, and we will continue to focus on this segment.
Prateek: What will be the company’s focus product segment in the coming year?
Rajesh Goenka: While we continue to grow consistently, we will expand our products and the go-to-market strategy to tap new territories. We have recently launched the embedded/sem-conductor vertical focused on manufacturers, OEMs, and system integrators. We are getting encouraging responses from potential customers, and we will soon become the driving force of the embedded business in India.
