Realme GT 5 (aka Realme GT Neo 6) launch teased officially

The launch date for the Realme GT 5 has not been disclosed yet, but the company has officially teased its arrival in China. The smartphone is expected to be unveiled in China first before making its way to other global markets. There was a previous rumor about the Realme GT Neo 6, which is now speculated to be the same device as the Realme GT 5.
Realme has teased the launch of the Realme GT 5 on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. However, the teaser only reveals the name of the phone without divulging much information. According to renowned tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (OnLeaks), the Realme GT Neo 6 that has been making headlines will indeed be released as the Realme GT 5. If this turns out to be true, we can get some insights into the design and key specifications of the upcoming phone.
Leaked renders of the supposed Realme GT Neo 6 showcased a large camera module covering the top third of the phone. Within the module, there are two circular camera cutouts, with the top one likely housing the primary sensor, and the bottom one accommodating two additional sensors. The module also mentions that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
As for the specifications, the Realme GT 5 is rumored to feature a 6.74-inch 144Hz OLED display, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, up to 16GB of RAM, a 50MP primary camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), and will likely run on Android 13 OS. Additionally, there are speculations that the phone will come with two variants of fast charging, offering 150W and 240W options.
