Xiaomi has officially announced the upcoming launch of the Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K 43″ model in India, scheduled for September 15th. This follows the earlier release of a 32″ HD model earlier in the year. Xiaomi introduced 43″, 50″, and 55″ 4K Fire TV models in the F2 series globally last year.
The TV will run the latest Fire TV software, feature a sleek design with minimal bezels, seamless connectivity, and additional functionalities. Powered by Amazon Fire OS, it is expected to come with an Alexa voice-enabled remote that enables users to easily change channels, launch applications, search for content, play music, and control smart home devices using voice commands.
The TV is likely to offer audio enhancements such as Dolby Audio, DTS-HD, and DTS-Virtual:X, similar to the HD model. The global variant typically includes a MediaTek MT9020 processor with Mali G52 MP2 GPU, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage.
After its launch, the Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K 43″ will be available for purchase on Amazon.in, Mi.com, and offline retail stores. Pricing details are expected to be revealed at the launch event next week.
