Back in October 2022, Redmi introduced the Redmi Note 12 series in China. Consequently, initial reports suggested that the Note 13 series would be unveiled in the same month this year. However, when the Redmi Note 13 series models surfaced in the TENAA database earlier this month, speculations began to circulate that their launch might happen in September. Earlier this week, the brand officially confirmed that the Note 13 series would indeed be announced in September. And now, it has been disclosed that a total of three Note 13 models are scheduled to be revealed at 7 pm (local time) on September 21 in China.
The provided poster offers a glimpse of two models: the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G on the left and the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G on the right. The Pro+ variant features a curved-edge screen, while the Pro model sports a flat display. Both devices appear to incorporate an AMOLED display with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
In terms of design, the Note 13 Pro+ boasts a leather back with raised camera rings, while the Note 13 Pro seems to be equipped with a glass back housing a raised camera island. Both models are equipped with an impressive 200-megapixel primary camera. It seems that optical image stabilization might be exclusive to the Pro+ version.
Earlier this week, Redmi confirmed that the Note 13 Pro+ would be powered by the Dimensity 7200-Ultra chipset. Additionally, it is expected to feature a robust 5,120mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.
Rumors have hinted that the Note 13 Pro may come with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset and a substantial 5,000mAh battery supporting 67W fast charging. Alongside these devices, the company is also set to unveil the Redmi Note 13 5G. However, no official details about the non-Pro model have been confirmed yet.
