Samsung Galaxy S21 FE with Snapdragon 888 chipset launched in India, priced at Rs 49,999

In January 2022, Samsung introduced the Fan Edition (FE) of the Galaxy S21 smartphone, initially with the Exynos chipset. Now, Samsung has launched a new variant of the Galaxy S21 FE in India, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. This Snapdragon-powered version is available for purchase on Samsung.

The Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S21 FE is offered in a single storage variant in India. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, priced at Rs 49,999. The smartphone is available in five color options: Olive, Navy, Graphite, Lavender, and White. It is worth noting that the Snapdragon variant is slightly more expensive compared to the Exynos version, which is priced at Rs 37,999.

Samsung has announced attractive offers for customers purchasing the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S21 FE. HDFC Bank credit and debit cardholders can enjoy an instant discount of Rs 5,000, while Samsung Axis Bank credit cardholders are eligible for a 10% cashback on their purchase.

As for the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate in Game mode. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor and comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone is equipped with a 4500mAh battery and supports 25-watt wired charging, 15-watt wireless charging, and wireless power share. It’s worth noting that the charger will be sold separately.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Galaxy S21 FE features a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 12MP wide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 30x space zoom. On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera. The smartphone runs on One UI 4 based on the Android 12 operating system and includes an optical fingerprint sensor. It also holds an IP68 rating, making it water-resistant for up to 5 feet of water for up to 30 minutes.
