With high voltage furore, the Samsung Galaxy is one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year. The phone is expected to debut later this month at the MWC 2014, in Barcelona. And, the smartphone maker is leaving no void to make its unveiling grand, as the first Galaxy S5 teaser from O2 Germany suggests that the handset will come in a water proof case.
O2 Germany’s teaser did not reveal any details about the smartphone, but the teaser is promoting to show that Samsung can do more. It shows that the Galaxy S5 is completely immersed into water. The Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to see the light of day the Mobile World Congress on 24 February and will be streamed live on Samsung’s Youtube channel.
Apparently, rumours suggests that theLG will launch the handset in two variants, the first one would be made of metal and the second one will be a cheaper version in plastic. The smartphone is likely to have a 13.3-cm (5.25-inch) Super AMOLED display with QHD resolution in standard version. The plastic body version of Samsung Galaxy S5 will come in same screen size of 13.3-cm with 1080p Super AMOLED display and will bear a waterproof body.
The smatphone will be powered by Android 4.4.2 KitKat with octo-core Exynos 6/quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32/64 GB of internal storage, microSD card support. Galaxy S5 will be loaded with a 16 MP primary camera that supports 4K video recording. The new Samsung flagship smartphone competes with Apple’s iPhone 5S, and may arrive with a fingerprint sensor with the sensor integration on the handset’s display.
