Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Watch6 Classic Astro Edition, a special variant of their latest smartwatch tailored for the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region.
This exclusive version pays homage to the rich heritage of the MENA region, renowned for its contributions to astronomy and mathematics, through a design that draws inspiration from ancient astrolabes for its bezel. The Galaxy Watch6 Classic Astro Edition, available in a single size (47mm), boasts an “Astro Bezel” adorned with intricate depictions of constellations, stars, and celestial entities.
Samsung has thoughtfully integrated astrolabe-inspired elements into the watch’s software, incorporating features like a compass on the dial and the tracking of lunar and solar phases. The watch face, unique to this edition, empowers users to easily monitor the movements of the sun and moon directly from their wrist.
Priced at AED 1,999.00 (equivalent to around USD 544 or Rs. 45,000), the Galaxy Watch6 Classic Astro Edition (47mm) is presented in the color Black. This special offering is available for purchase in select MENA markets, including Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the U.A.E.
Buyers of this limited edition will also receive an extra Fabric Band, exclusive collectibles from the Astro Edition, and access to Samsung’s VIP exclusive promotion store.
