Samsung, India’s leading consumer electronics brand, has announced that customers who pre-booked the new Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 will receive their devices earlier than expected.
The Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 have seen tremendous success, with pre-orders increasing by 40% in the first 24 hours compared to their predecessors.
These sixth-generation foldable smartphones are the slimmest and lightest in the Galaxy Z series, featuring a symmetrical design with straight edges. Built with enhanced Armor Aluminum and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, they are the most durable models yet.
Both devices are powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, the most advanced Snapdragon processor to date, offering superior CPU, GPU, and NPU performance optimized for AI processing. The Galaxy Z Fold6 includes a 1.6x larger vapor chamber for extended gaming sessions and supports ray tracing on its 7.6-inch screen, delivering lifelike graphics with a brightness of up to 2,600 nits for an immersive gaming experience.
The Galaxy Z Fold6 is equipped with AI-powered tools such as Note Assist, Composer, Sketch to Image, Interpreter, Photo Assist, and Instant Slow-mo to enhance productivity on its large screen.
The Galaxy Z Flip6 boasts new customization and creative features, including a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow for AI-assisted functions without opening the device. It offers suggested replies for texts, FlexCam with Auto Zoom for optimal framing, and upgraded camera sensors for high-quality photos. The device also features improved battery life and a vapor chamber.
Both models are secured by Samsung Knox, a defense-grade security platform that provides end-to-end protection with real-time threat detection.
Price and Availability:
The Galaxy Z Fold6 starts at INR 164999 (12GB+256GB), while the Galaxy Z Flip6 starts at INR 109999 (12GB+256GB). Customers who pre-order will receive an INR 8000 cashback on HDFC Bank cards and a 9-month no-cost EMI or an INR 8000 upgrade bonus with up to 9 months no-cost EMI. Existing Samsung flagship smartphone customers can avail an upgrade bonus of INR 15000.
Pre-order customers will also benefit from the Galaxy Z Assurance program, offering two screen or parts replacements at just INR 999. Additionally, they can enjoy up to 35% off on the newly launched Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Watch 7, and Galaxy Buds3, as well as 50% off on Samsung covers. The new devices will be available from July 24, 2024.
