Samsung has unveiled the New NX30 Compact System Camera and the Galaxy Camera 2 at the Samsung Forum 2014 in Bali, yesterday, specifically for the Indian market. Galaxy Camera was announced earlier at the CES 2014, in Las Vegas, by the smartphone maker.
With brand new set of smartphones and tablets launched by Samsung (or lined to see the light of the day), the company has reportedly unveiled the New NX30 and the Galaxy Camera 2 at the Samsung Forum 2014 in Bali, yesterday, specifically for the Indian market.
Earlier, Samsung had announced the Galaxy Camera at the in Las Vegas. It is loaded with features like a powerful 16MP BSI CMOS sensor, 21x optical zoom lens (23 mm Wide Angle, F2.8(W) ~ 5.9(T)) and optical image stabilisation.
The Galaxy Camera 2 has a 12.1-cm (4.8-inch) LCD with 1.6GHz quad-core processor and is powered by Android 4.3 with Google Play support. It enables MP4 videos in Full HD (1920×1080 per 30fps, 1280×720 per 60fps, 1280×720 per 30fps, 640×480 per 60fps with options of 640×480 for 30fps and 320×240 per 30fps).
Multi Motion Videos of 768 x 512 (WVGA, x1/8, x1/4, x1/2, x2, x4, x8) per 120fps can be shot from the camera.
The smartcamera comes with a 2GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, and xenon flash.
Samsung has included WiFi a/b/g/n, WiFi HT40, GPS/GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity options with NFC as well, and a 2000mAh battery.
The smartcamera maker has further added features like Tag & Go, Photo Beam, Mobile Link, Remote Viewfinder, Smart Mode, Smart Mode Suggest, Selfie Alarm and Multi-motion video. Samsung is yet to state the price and availability of Galaxy Camera 2 in India.
The Samsung NX30 has an advanced 20.3MP APS-C CMOS Sensor with the company’s NX AF System II. The NX30 has a shutter speed of 1/8000 sec, tiltable Electronic Viewfinder (XGA, 2,359K-dot resolution), the camera can move from side to side up to 180 degrees, and upward and downward up to 270 degrees. It has 76.7mm (3.0-inch) Super AMOLED Swivel with touch display.
NX30 has NFC and Wi-Fi connectivity with the ‘Tag & Go’ function that lets users tap and share memories instantly. It has DRIMeIV Image Processor and a DSP imaging engine in Full HD 1080/60p. It supports 3D image (3D still image & video capturing), and carries features like Beauty Face, Landscape, Macro, Action Freeze, Rich Tone, Panorama, Waterfall, Silhouette, Sunset, Night, Fireworks, Light Trace, Creative Shot, Best Face, Multi-Exposure, and Smart Jump Shot. NX30 has options like AutoShare, SNS & Cloud (Dropbox, Flickr, Facebook, Picasa, YouTube), Email, Auto Backup, Remote Viewfinder Pro, MobileLink, Samsung Link, Group Share, Direct Beam, HomeSync (Available in selected regions), Baby Monitor and 1410 mAh battery.
