ITVoice News: On Tuesday, in the second round of Xiaomi Redmi 1s sale, all the 40,000 units went off the shelve within 4.5 seconds which was just a wink longer than the first sale which ended only within 4.3 seconds. Many went back bare handed once again.
Those who didn’t get to add the phone to their carts couldn’t check out successfully. Whereas, the crowd even had few lucky resellers who later offered the same phone at higher prices.
Redmi 1s is an easy on pocket phone priced at Rs 5,999. Several tweets from the buyers expressed their views, few with excitement upon getting the phone in the cart and few with disappointment over missing the deal as well. Since the deal went off really well both the times, the exclusive Xiaomi and Flipkart offer seems to be working to certain extent.
Redmi 1s offers amazing list of features at such reasonable price tag of Rs. 5,999 which includes, 1 GB RAM, quad-core 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8228 processor and Adreno 305 GPU. The smartphone sports 11.94-cm (4.7-inch) 720p IPS display with 8MP rear view camera and 1.6 MP front camera. It has 16 GB onboard storage capacity with a microSD card slot and runs on Anroid 4.3 Jelly Bean with Xiaomi’s MIUI layer on top.
Seeing the success rate of the sales, Xiaomi might come up with its flash sale next week as well. But, no official announcement has yet been made by Flipkart about the same.
