This latest initiative by the company is an endeavor towards further enhancing the seller experience on the site. The company has further enhanced its technology and processes to reduce the time taken to onboard a seller to just 4 hours. The initiative is aligned with company’s goal of targeting 100,000 sellers in the next 12 months, up from its current 30,000+ seller base.
One of the key focuses for Snapdeal.com is enabling and empowering SMBs in India. Given that the Indian retail sector is highly unorganized and fragmented, small and medium sized businesses often do not have the necessary resources/know-how and are thus unable to sell their products nationally.
