Tecno has hosted a press event in India to introduce its latest smartphone lineup, the Pova 5 series. The lineup consists of two models: the Tecno Pova 5 and the Pova 5 Pro. While the Pova 5 is a 4G phone, the Pova 5 Pro offers 5G connectivity. These smartphones feature expansive FHD+ resolution displays with high refresh rates and sizeable batteries equipped with fast charging capabilities.
The Pova 5 Pro boasts a generous 6.78-inch FHD+ display that operates at a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring seamless visuals. To enhance security, the device incorporates a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Photography enthusiasts will be intrigued by the dual-camera setup on the rear, which includes a primary 50-megapixel sensor paired with an AI lens.
Under the hood, the Pova 5 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 6080 processor, accompanied by a substantial 8GB of RAM and an additional 8GB of virtual RAM. It will be available in internal storage options of 128GB and 256GB. Supporting the device is a robust 5,000mAh battery, capable of rapid recharging at 68W. The smartphone also includes a vapor chamber measuring 2,820mm² and a heat dissipation area of 12,979mm², ensuring effective temperature control during extended usage. The phone operates on Android 13-based HiOS 13.
A notable feature of the Pova 5 Pro is the dynamic RGB lighting-enabled Arc Interface located on the rear panel. This unique design element illuminates in various colors, enhancing the gaming experience, indicating charging status, and notifying users of incoming notifications.
