It appears that India is soon going to witness the launch of another smartphone inspired by the Nothing Phone (2), namely the Tecno Pova 5 series. The launch date for these smartphones has been officially confirmed by the company.
Tecno has announced that the unveiling of the Tecno Pova 5 series will take place in India on August 11. The launch event, named TECNOlogy, will be held at DLF Avenue, New Delhi, and will remain open to the public until August 13. During this event, attendees will have the opportunity to experience some of the brand’s popular products in an immersive manner. Notably, the Tecno Pova 5 Pro was introduced globally on August 2. However, it will debut alongside the standard Pova 5 variant in India. Both models will showcase the new Turbo Mecha design.
Interestingly, the Turbo Mecha design bears a resemblance to the Cyber Mecha design featured in the Infinix GT 10 Pro, which is another smartphone inspired by the Nothing Phone (2). The Pova 5 series boasts a futuristic aesthetic, incorporating LED lighting strips that offer various colors. Additionally, it introduces the 3D Texture tech called Arc Interface. This feature will seamlessly integrate with fundamental smartphone functions such as calls and notifications.
Drawing from the global launch, we are aware that the Tecno Pova 5 Pro 5G will sport a 6.78-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Beneath the surface, it will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC. The device supports rapid 68W fast charging and will be available in Dark Illusion and Silver Fantasy color options.
