According to insights shared by tech analyst Mark Gurman, the Apple Watch X may feature a more streamlined design and introduce a novel magnetic system for attaching bands. The existing design, which involves sliding and locking bands into the sides, occupies valuable space within the device, constraining improvements like larger batteries.
Gurman suggests that Apple is exploring a magnetic attachment mechanism that could free up additional space for enhancements, though specifics about how this system will function in the Watch X are yet to be clarified.
