Samsung is anticipated to launch the next-generation flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, in early 2024. This upcoming model is rumored to bring several improvements compared to its predecessor, including the incorporation of a titanium frame. Although titanium is denser than aluminum, it boasts greater strength and resistance to corrosion. This suggests that the Galaxy S24 Ultra could offer enhanced durability compared to its predecessors.
Surprisingly, despite the denser frame material, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to maintain a lightweight profile. Renowned tipster Ice Universe has claimed that the phone’s weight will be just 233g, even 1g lighter than the Galaxy S23 Ultra. This is noteworthy because titanium is typically heavier than aluminum. This indicates that Samsung has invested significant engineering effort into making the phone both lighter and more robust.
The design of the S24 Ultra is rumored to bear resemblance to its forerunner. The technical specifications of the screen are also expected to align closely, featuring a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Regarding the camera system, reports suggest that the phone will feature a quad-camera setup on the rear, encompassing a 200MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP telephoto camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera.
