The highly anticipated Poco F5 smartphone is about to be released in the same market as Poco’s newly launched X5 series in India. The upcoming handset is anticipated to continue on the legacy of its highly acclaimed predecessor, the Poco F4, which had rightfully acquired the nickname of “flagship killer”. The Xiaomi subsidiary brand hasn’t made any formal announcements yet, but according to a report, the Poco F5 will go on sale in the first week of April.
According to unnamed insiders cited by 91Mobiles, the Poco F5 will go on sale in India on April 6. As previously stated, there has been no formal confirmation of the same. If the company actually intends to release the device in the first week of April, it should start teasing it shortly. The Poco F5 should cost a little more than the F4 in comparison. The latter had a price tag of Rs 27,999 when it made its début in India.
According to reports, the Poco F5 5G will shortly make its debut in China with the most recent Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset and be a rebadged Redmi Note 12 Turbo. A 6.67-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz frame rate, up to 1,400 nits of brightness, HDR10+ support, and 1,920Hz PWM dimming is reportedly included in the Poco smartphone.
It may include Android 13 mobile OS, up to 12GB of Memory, and 256GB of storage. The device might have a triple camera setup on the back, with a 50MP main camera and 8MP and 2MP secondary cameras.
It might have a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. A 5,500mAh battery inside the Poco phone would be capable of supplying 67W fast wired and 30W wireless charging.
