Xiaomi has recently introduced the Redmi 13C model in the Chinese market, with plans for an imminent launch in India. Now, it seems the company is actively working on another addition to the Redmi 13 series, known as the Redmi 13R 5G.
The forthcoming Redmi 13R 5G has surfaced on the Bluetooth SIG platform, revealing its model number as 23124RN87I. This certification not only affirms the name “Redmi 13R 5G” but also indicates support for Bluetooth 5.3. Additionally, the device is expected to run on the Android 13 operating system with Xiaomi’s MIUI 14 custom skin.
While the Bluetooth SIG listing did not disclose detailed specifications, there’s speculation that the Redmi 13R 5G might be a rebranded version of the Redmi 13C 5G designed for international markets. The Redmi 13C 5G was previously identified on the 3C platform with the model number 23124RN87IC, which closely resembles the 23124RN87I model number of the Redmi 13R 5G. If this assumption holds true, some expectations regarding the 13R’s features can be derived.
The Redmi 13C 5G is anticipated to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. Its display might include a teardrop notch design with a 90Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. On the rear, a 50-megapixel primary sensor is speculated. However, these details remain unconfirmed, and it is advisable to await official announcements for accurate information. Stay tuned for further updates as more details emerge about the Redmi 13R 5G.
