Samsung is actively developing a range of smartphones and tablets, including the Galaxy Tab A9 Series, Galaxy S9 FE series, and the highly anticipated flagship Galaxy S24 Series. Among these, there is significant anticipation surrounding the Galaxy S24, and a recent leak has provided insights into the display of the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
According to information shared by tipster itnyang, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is speculated to sport an incredibly bright display, potentially reaching up to 2200 nits of brightness or even higher. Reports suggest that Samsung is currently testing different prototypes featuring display brightness ranging from 2500 nits to 2800 nits. Renowned tipster IceUniverse has also indicated that the brightness level could surpass 2200 nits.
It’s important to note that the implications of such a high brightness level on battery consumption are a concern. This level of brightness might be available only as part of specific features or modes to mitigate potential battery drain.
The upcoming smartphone is rumored to feature the same OLED panel known as M13, which is expected to be utilized in devices like the iPhone 15 Pro and Oppo Find X6 Pro.
In addition to the display details, other leaked features have surfaced. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is speculated to incorporate a primary rear sensor with a whopping 200MP resolution, accompanied by a 12MP ultrawide sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom.
Battery specifications have also been hinted at: the standard Galaxy S24 might house a 4000mAh battery, the Galaxy S24 Plus could come with a 4900mAh battery, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to boast a 5000mAh battery. Following Samsung’s recent trends, the Galaxy S24 could potentially be equipped with a dedicated Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC manufactured using a 4nm process.
