TweetDeck’s new ‘XPro’ branding is starting to show up

The rebranding of TweetDeck to XPro has been officially announced. The change can be seen at the top of the TweetDeck page when accessed through a logged-out session. Elon Musk, who owns X (formerly Twitter), revealed the new name recently.
While the transformation from Twitter to X is ongoing, remnants of the previous branding remain on the page. The Twitter bird logo is still prominently displayed, and the tagline describes XPro as a powerful real-time tool for active Twitter users.
There are several references to XPro on the page, including a question about seeking the legacy version of XPro, a link to access the legacy version (leading to a TweetDeck login page), and a link to the XPro Terms at the bottom of the page (currently labeled “TweetDeck Preview Program”).
An anticipated change is for XPro to become an exclusive feature for subscribers. In a tweet on July 3rd, the company’s support account mentioned that XPro would be available only to verified paying users “in 30 days,” indicating an imminent implementation.
Despite the announcement that TweetDeck Preview would launch as TweetDeck 2.0 under the XPro rebranding, the older version of the app is still accessible at the time of writing.
The comprehensive X rebranding is gradually being introduced across the platform, extending to the Android and iOS apps. A large flashing X logo was briefly displayed at the top of the X headquarters building in San Francisco before being taken down.
