Tuesday, July 08, 2014: Home grown manufacturer Xolo has introduced two new Android Kitkat powered smartphones in the Indian market. The Xolo Q500s IPS and Play 6X-1000 smartphones have now been listed on the company’s official website at Rs 5,999 and Rs 14,499 respectively.
The Xolo Q500s IPS features a 10.16-cm (4-inch) WVGA IPS display with a 480×800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. It sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP front-facing camera. It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The dual-SIM device runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. Connectivity options include: 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS and Bluetooth. It decks in a 1500mAh battery.
Meanwhile, the Xolo Play 6X-1000 features a 12.7-cm (5-inch) HD IPS display with a 720×1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.5GHz hexa-core MediaTek MT6591 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and BSI sensor and a 2mp front facing camera. It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The dual-SIM device runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. Connectivity options include: 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS and USB OTG. It decks in a 2100mAh battery.
