Realme Set to Introduce New Smartphone in India This Month, Teaser Reveals Design
Realme has officially disclosed its plans to unveil a new smartphone in India during the current month. Leading up to the official launch, the brand has provided an initial glimpse of the phone’s design through a teaser. Strong indications point towards this upcoming release being a part of the Realme 11 series.
The teaser image showcases the smartphone in two distinct color variants: gold and black. However, the definitive marketing name for the device remains ambiguous, leaving room for speculation between options like Realme 11 5G and Realme 11x 5G.
A closer examination of the circular camera module on the phone’s rear reveals a dual-camera system, headlined by an impressive 108-megapixel camera, accompanied by a pill-shaped LED flash. This configuration aligns closely with the Realme 11 5G, which recently made its debut in Taiwan.
The Realme 11 5G boasts a sizable 6.72-inch IPS LCD panel offering FHD+ resolution and a rapid 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by the Dimensity 6100 Plus chipset, the device is paired with 8 GB of RAM, storage options of 128 GB or 256 GB, and a substantial 5,000mAh battery featuring 67W fast charging capabilities.
According to recent reports, the Realme 11x 5G might also make its way to the Indian market. Expected to be available exclusively in an 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage configuration, the phone could come in captivating color choices such as Dawn Purple and Midnight Black. Detailed specifications of the Realme 11x 5G are yet to be revealed.
In addition to introducing the Realme 11 series, the company is also anticipated to unveil the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro TWS earbuds at the same launch event. These earbuds are poised to offer significant features, including an 11mm woofer, active noise cancellation (ANC), a lengthy 40-hour battery life, dual-device connectivity, and IPX5 splash-resistance.
