Recently, a 90 Crore Order supplied by Vehant at 70 Indian airports under Airport Authority of India (AAI)
Vehant Technologies Pvt. Ltd, a Noida-based smart security and surveillance solutions provider, has received fresh orders worth 37 crore from Mumbai Airport and Airports Authority of India (AAI) for the supply of dual-view X-ray machines. Notably, all of these cutting edge baggage scanning machines are set to be designed and manufactured in India, aligning with the government’s ambitious ‘Make in India’ initiative.
The order is for supply and installation, comprising a total of 83 units including 44 machines tailored to various sizes designated for Mumbai Airport, and 39 units destined for AAI, involving a recurring order for baggage scanners. The cumulative value of the orders amounts to INR 37 Crores. These orders will see the deployment of various models of advanced 6040 Dual View X-Ray baggage scanners, as well as the KritiScan® 100100 and 150180 Dual View X-Ray Cargo scanners.
The current order from the Airport Authority of India is a repeat order of the 90 crore order Vehant received in January 2023, which the company successfully supplied across 70 airports in cities including Chennai, Kolkata, Trichy, Pune, Udaipur, Varanasi, Jodhpur, Prayagraj, and more. The company also supplied 20 numbers of NanoSniffer: Explosive Trace Detector, under a trial order from AAI under Make in India Initiative, which are supplied and installed at 6 Airports in India.
