Vi has joined forces with CareGame to introduce Cloud Play, a cloud gaming service, to the Indian market. This innovative platform enables users to play high-quality games on their mobile devices without the need for powerful hardware or extensive storage space.
Launched in collaboration with CareGame, a prominent cloud gaming company, Cloud Play is now available to Android, iOS, and web users through the Vi Games app. This service offers gamers the opportunity to enjoy modern AAA titles directly on their smartphones, although the current selection primarily consists of mobile games.
As part of an introductory offer, Vi has introduced a try-and-buy mode, allowing users to experience Cloud Play for free during the initial 15-day period. Following this trial period, the service will be priced at Rs 100 per month. Prepaid users can conveniently recharge with the Rs 104 plan to continue accessing games on Cloud Play.
Cloud Play features a diverse range of popular games, including Modern Combat 5, Shadow Fight, Storm Blades, Riptide, and Beach Buggy Racing, among others. These games can be played without the need for downloading, offering users instant access to an extensive library of entertainment options. Additionally, Vi has confirmed plans to expand the game lineup in the near future.
One noteworthy inclusion in Cloud Play is the exclusive version of Gameloft’s Asphalt 9: Legends, which comes with unlocked multiplayer mode, two bonus cars, and other exciting surprises.
It is important to note that Cloud Play requires a stable internet connection to function optimally, as cloud gaming relies heavily on internet connectivity. Users can enjoy gaming experiences on both mobile data and Wi-Fi networks. However, at present, Cloud Play is exclusively available to Vi subscribers.
