Following its launch in Singapore last month, the Vivo Y17s has made its debut in the Indian market. This smartphone is specifically designed for budget-conscious consumers.
The Vivo Y17s features a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels. It boasts a 60Hz refresh rate, 840 nits of brightness, an 83 percent NTSC color gamut, and a pixel density of 269 ppi. For selfies, there’s an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, while the rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel bokeh lens.
Powering the Y17s is a substantial 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. The smartphone is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, combined with 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. It also offers expandable storage through a dedicated microSD card slot. The device runs on Android 13 with the FunTouch OS 13 skin.
Additional features include dual SIM support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an IP54-rated chassis for added durability.
The Vivo Y17S is available in Glitter Purple and Mystic Green color choices and can be purchased on the Vivo e-store. It is offered in two storage configurations: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage for Rs. 11,499 and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage for Rs. 12,499.
