On Thursday, Vivo introduced its first foldable smartphone, the X Fold3 Pro, in India. This premium foldable device will compete with Samsung’s Fold and the OnePlus Open. It is one of the first phones in India to feature Google’s in-built Gemini Pro.
The Vivo X Fold3 Pro boasts a 6.53-inch cover display and an 8.03-inch main display. Both AMOLED displays support a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The phone weighs 236 grams and is 11.2 mm thick when folded. The cover display is protected by Armor Glass, and the device is IPX8 rated for water resistance.
The X Fold3 Pro is equipped with a 5,700mAh battery, supported by a 100W fast charger.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the Vivo X Fold3 Pro comes in a single variant with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. It runs on Funtouch 14, based on Android 14.
Continuing its collaboration with ZEISS, the X Fold3 Pro features a main 50MP camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide sensor, and a 64MP telephoto lens with OIS and 3x zoom. Both the cover and main screens have 32MP front cameras.
The Vivo X Fold3 Pro, available in Celestial Black, will be priced at ₹1,59,999 and will be available starting June 13 on Flipkart, Vivo e-stores, and offline retail partners.
