According to a report in WABetaInfo, a website that tracks news and changes pertaining to WhatsApp, the Meta-owned service is developing the capacity to release longer group subjects and descriptions in order to improve user experience for WhatsApp groups.
The number of characters that administrators can enter in the group subject and description is changing on WhatsApp. The maximum character limit has been increased from 25 to 100 to allow them greater leeway when naming groups. The instant messaging service is also raising the maximum character limit for group descriptions from 512 to 2,048. As a result, users will have more room to add crucial information and details that they would otherwise be unable to do owing to space limitations.
Please be aware, though, that even if this function has been turned on for your device, you might not be able to use it right away. You also need to download the most recent WhatsApp beta for Android update from the Play Store.
According to WABetaInfo, more people should have access to the capability during the following twenty-four hours.
