A screenshot shared by WABetaInfo shows that users of iOS 10 and iPhone later version iOS 11 will no longer be supported to have the new version of WhatsApp and will not fix security support as well. So, it has abandoned the oldest versions iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c.
Because of these two oldest devices of the iPhone. One iPhone 5 and another one is iPhone 5c have no support from Apple Inc. to update these two devices to the newest version of iOS 12.
However, iOS is the minimum requirement for WhatsApp to support iPhone users. This is not something new at all for Android users. Before this information for iOS 10 and iOS 11 users. WhatsApp disseminates a message to Android users that were using Android version 4.0.4 and tells them to update to Android version 4.1. In order to use the new and updated version of the WhatsApp instant messaging platform.
Last year iPhone users were served with a piece of fake news. Where the iPhone users using versions iOS 10 and iOS 11 were told that they would have to update their iPhone versions iOS 10 iOS 11 to 12 to use WhatsApp’s new version. However, that was not true at that time.
