The Xiaomi 13 Series Launch event is on February 26th, according to a tweet from Lei Jun, despite the press release we got not mentioning it. The phrase “series” is used to imply that the vanilla model might also make its international debut on February 26 with the Pro version.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC powers the Xiaomi 13 Pro, which also has up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It comes with a 6.73″ QHD+ 120Hz LTPO OLED screen protected by Gorilla Glass Victus and runs MIUI 14 on Android 13 out of the box. The panel supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, and a fingerprint reader for biometric verification is located underneath. The 32MP selfie camera features a punch hole in the middle of it as well.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro has a triple camera setup on the rear that consists of a 50.3MP primary (with OIS), a 50MP telephoto, and a 50MP ultrawide camera.
