In the third flash sale of Xiaomi Redmi 1S, the smartphones got picked up within the span of 3.4 seconds from the flipkart website.
ITVoice News: Setting a new record, 40,000 units of Xiaomi Redmi 1S Sold Off Within 3.4 Seconds .The company’s official twitter handle for India claimed it to be listed as ‘out of stock’ in just 3.4 seconds. During the first flash, the stock went off the shelves within mere 4.2 seconds whereas in the second flash sale it took just 4.5 seconds.
Flipkart’s Mi page specifies that the registration for the next Tuesday’s flash sale for Redmi 1S began at 6pm IST yesterday. Xiaomi Redmi 1S exclusive online retailer, Flipkart claimed that over 350,000 people registered for the third flash sale of the Redmi 1S. It even noted that these registrations won’t be carried forward. People will have to register again for the next flash sale.
This time as well, there were lot of people how couldn’t grab the phone and have even expressed their disappointment through twitter. And at the same time there were also few lucky ones who expressed their excitement for grabbing the deal well on time.
Since there is limited stock available in India, the e-commerce website has mentioned that only one phone can be availed for single registered e-mail Id per sale. The company is also referred to as ‘China’s Apple’. It has availed much rated publicity through the flash sale offer. There have been mixed reviews about the phone by the users, where on the one hand they have appreciated the leading camera performance, display and the battery life; perhaps on the other hand they are disappointed about the limited RAM availability and the dull design.
