Xolo has launching a new budget Android smartphone in India, the Xolo A500s Lite, at Rs. 5,499. Notably, the Xolo A500s Lite is the successor to the Xolo A500s that was launched last year.
According to the official website, the Xolo A500s Lite comes with dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box. It sports a 4.0-inch WVGA (480×800 pixel) display with a pixel density of 233ppi. The A500s Lite is also powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor and Mali-400 MP GPU coupled with 512MB of RAM.
The Xolo A500s Lite sports a 3-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while it also houses a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with 4GB inbuilt storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
Connectivity options on the Xolo A500s Lite include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS. The A500s Lite budget smartphone is available in Black and White colour variants. The smartphone measures 127x63x9.2mm in dimensions and includes a 1400mAh battery.
Earlier this month, Xolo launched its latest Q-series smartphone, the Q900T, at Rs. 11,999. The Xolo Q900T is a new variant of the Xolo Q900 launched last year.
Some of the key features of the Xolo Q900T are dual-SIM (GSM+GSM); Android 4.2 Jelly Bean; 4.7-inch (720×1280 pixels) HD IPS display; 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6589 Turbo) processor with a PowerVR SGX544 GPU; 1GB of RAM; 4GB of inbuilt storage; 8-megapixel rear camera, and 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
On the connectivity front, the Xolo Q900T includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth.The smartphone packs an 1800mAh battery, which according to the official listing, delivers up to 15 hours of talk time and up to 367 hours of standby time on 2G network.
