Xolo has expanded its budget ‘A-series’ of smartphones, with the introduction of the A510s. The Xolo A510s is now listed on the company’s website with a price of Rs. 7,499. However, there is no word on the availability of the latest A510s smartphone.
The Xolo A510s appears to be the successor to the Xolo A500s, which was launched in August last year. The company is touting the metallic finish body of the Xolo A510s.
The Xolo A510s runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. It offers dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support. It features a 4-inch IPS display with FWVGA (480×854 pixels) resolution, translating to a pixel density of 245ppi.
A dual-core MediaTek (MTK6572) processor powers the smartphone, clocked at 1.3GHz, coupled with a Mali-400 MP GPU and 1GB of RAM. The Xolo A510s sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard.
The A510s comes with 4GB of in-built storage, and can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. It supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, AGPS, EDGE, GPRS and 3G connectivity options.
Xolo’s A510s is backed by a 1400mAh battery, which according to the official site can deliver up to 13 hours of talktime and 424 hours of standby time on 2G network.
Earlier, Xolo unveiled the Q1010 smartphone at Rs. 12,999. The quad-core Xolo Q1010 is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device which runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box, featuring a 5-inch (720×1280 pixels) HD IPS display with OGS (One Glass Solution).
