Home grown manufacturer Xolo has introduced a new budget Android device in its A-series of smartphones. The Xolo A700s has been listed on the company’s official website at a price tag of Rs 7,299. There is, though, no word yet regarding the ease of use of the device.
The Xolo A700s smartphone features a 11.43-cm (4.5-inch) qHD IPS display with a 540×960 pixels declaration. It is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6572) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP front facing camera. It comes with 4GB of integral storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The dual-SIM device runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. Connectivity options include: 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, Micro-USB, A-GPS, and Bluetooth. It decks in an 1,800mAh battery which can deliver up to 22.4 hours of talk time and up to 623 hours of standby time on 2G network, according to Xolo.
Earlier Xolo launched the Q500s IPS smartphone at a price of Rs 5,999. The Xolo Q500s IPS features a 10.16-cm (4-inch) WVGA IPS LCD with a 800 x 480 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.3 Ghz MT6582 Quad core processor coupled with 512 MB RAM. It sports a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front camera and comes with 4GB internal storage. The device runs Android 4.4 KitKat. It decks in a 1,500 mAh battery.
