Shortly after announcing the Q1200 handset, Xolo seems to be readying itself to introduce another Q-series smartphone, the Xolo Q1000 Opus 2, for the Indian market. The Xolo Q1000 Opus 2 is now available to buy via an online retailer’s website with a price tag of Rs. 9,780. No announcement has been made by Xolo yet.
The Xolo Q1000 Opus 2 is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device and runs the older Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box with no word on its update. The Q1000 Opus 2 sports a 5-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) IPS display, which translates to a pixel density of around 220ppi.
As per the Xolo Q1000 Opus 2 listing on Snapdeal, the smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon (MSM8212) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
The connectivity options included in the Xolo Q1000 Opus 2 are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G, USB 2.0, Micro-USB and Bluetooth 4.0. Also onboard are the magnetometer, proximity and ambient light sensors.
The Q1000 Opus 2 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera and a LED flash, while it also houses a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The device also includes a 2000mAh Li-ion battery, measures 143x73x9.3mm and comes in Black and White colour variants only.
Couple of weeks ago Xolo launched the Q1200 smartphone for the Indian market at a price tag of Rs. 13,999. Specifications of the handset include a 5-inch HD IPS display; 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor; 1GB of RAM; 8GB inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card); 8-megapixel rear camera; 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and 2000mAh Li-ion battery.
