Indian mobile manufacturing company, XOLO announced their new KitKat running smartphone – Xolo Q1011 in India. This is the first slim phone to run KitKat, which also offers a decent battery life. The phone is exclusively available on Amazon India store.
The Xolo Q1011 packs a 12,7-cm (5-inch) IPS LCD display with 1280 x 720 resolution. The pixel density is 294ppi, which is pretty good as compared to its competitors. Xolo had used pixel glass solution screen technology in the device, which was used to make extra sensitive touch display on previous XOLO models.
The device is powered by a Mediatek 6582 chipset with clockspeed of 1.3GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM and 500 MHz Mali 400 GPU. This hardware configuration is good enough to run Android Kitkat. The Android smartphone is fitted with an 8MP rear camera. The smartphone has 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi, micro USB for connectivity. The device also comes with 4GB of internal memory.
It is fueled by 2250mAh battery that claims to last for 550 hours on a standby mode. As an introductory offer, 16GB Toshiba microSD is given with the device from Liverpool FC Football. The device is priced at Rs 9,999.
